THE PICTURE OF GOD
A kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom drawing
pictures. As she was observing the artwork, one little girl captured
her attention. Walking over to the child, she asked the girl what she
was drawing.
The girl replied, “I’m drawing a picture of God.” The teacher
paused and gently said, “But nobody knows what God looks like.”
Without missing a beat or looking up from her drawing, the girl
replied, “They will in a minute.”
The Message Bible says that the Son perfectly mirrors God and is
stamped with God’s nature. (Hebrews 1:3)
IF OUR PERCEPTION OF GOD
IS ANY DIFFERENT THAN THE IMAGE OF CHRIST,
THEN IT IS A FALSE PERCEPTION.
