THINK ABOUT...
       WILL THE WILL OF GOD
      ALWAYS BE FULFILLED?

DOES GOD ALWAYS GET HIS WAY?

In the prayer example that Jesus gave in
Matthew 6:10, we are told to pray for God's will
to be done. That will is inclusive of many things.
Is it not true that if we pray according to the will
of God it will be accomplished? So, if it is
expressly the will of God then it will occur as He
wills/desires/resolves.

Have you ever prayed for 'all men" as expressed
in 1 Timothy 2:1? Just three verses below in
verse 4, we are told that it is God's will for all
men to be saved and come to the knowledge of
the truth.

If I pray for the salvation of all men am I praying
the will of God? The salvation of all men is
expressed as the "will of God". This 'will'
is not hope or simple desire, but a resolve or
purpose by God to bring to pass what is willed.

We are quick to claim that man has a "free will"
but are we so bold as to believe that our so
called free will can overpower the express
purpose of God?
THE LOCATION OF
THE BOWING KNEES

Note the words from Phil 2:10. IN, ON, and
UNDER. This verse has been quoted in
many sermons and praise and worship
songs. Re-read it again and see WHERE
the knees are bending....?

SEA GAVE UP THE DEAD.

In Rev 20:13, it says the sea gave up the
dead in it and death and hell give up the
dead in them. What about the traditional
teaching that says the dead are in
heaven... or hell? How many places
contain the dead?
" ESPECIALLY "

If I made the statement, “I like ice-
cream, especially chocolate”. Am I
saying I only like chocolate or am I
saying I like all ice-cream?

Paul said that as we have opportunity
we should do good to all, especially to
those who are of the household of
faith. (Gal 6:10). Now, is Paul
excluding those who are not of the
household of faith? No, we are to do
good to all, but more so to those of
the household of faith.  In other
words, we are to do good to all men
regardless and all men benefit from
that goodness.

Now, one more use of especially. Paul
says we suffer reproach because we
trust in the living God WHO IS THE
SAVIOR OF ALL MEN, ESPECIALLY
OFTHOSE WHO BELIEVE. (1 Tim. 4:
10)  Did Paul say that Jesus is only
the Savior of those who believe? For
there to be an especial Savior, He
must save the all.

Now 1 John 2:2 is much more
powerful. It says that Jesus is the
propitiation for our sins AND NOT
FOR OURS ONLY BUT ALSO FOR
THE WHOLE WORLD.
ABSOLUTE RECONCILIATION MINISTRIES
DID GOD FORSAKE HIS SON?
COULD HE ALSO FORSAKE US?

Do you not think it strange that we are told God loves us
and will never forsake us but yet we are also told that God
forsook His Son when He desperately needed Him. When
Jesus cried out in Matthew 27:46 "My God, My God, why
have you forsaken me?";  was He testifying to the fact that
God actually turned away as we are told?

Traditionally, we have told people that God cannot look at
sin but yet He came looking for Adam. God's holiness is
never diminished in the presence of our sin but it is His
holiness that removes the stain of sin from us and it is the
same with His Son as He died as us. The promise of no
broken bones point to the watchful eye of His Father.

When we sin we fill so desperately alone and we fill that
God turns away from us--we fill forsaken. As Jesus carried
the full weight of our sin and He,  feeling the full impact of
our transgression--had the perception that God had left
Him. God has never left us nor did He leave His Son.

      Robe of Righteousness

Isa 61:10 "I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has
clothed me with the garments of slavation, He has covered me with the robe of
righteousness..."

Clothing mainly has two purposes:
    1. to wear as protection from the elements or
    2. to adorn-to make one look good.

Galatians 3:27 in the Lamsa translation says: "For those who have been baptized in the
name of Christ have been clothed with Christ." We wear Him as a garment of salvation next
to the body and we take on His characteristics, intentions, and purpose; His heart.

The second part of Isaiah says He has covered me with the Robe of Righteousness which
is a royal garment of identification and it identifies us as belonging to God and made in His
likeness.

The Righteousness that all  mankind becomes is a privileged place and not an exclusive
place. It lets us be before God without the sense of sin which causes guilt, fear,
condemnation, and unworthiness. We are before Him without any remembrance of sin in
His mind or ours.
